Make Cinelinx Your Destination for May

It’s kind of hard to believe that the Summer movie season is already upon us.  With Avengers: Age of Ultron in theaters today, things are kicking off with a bang and there’s so much more for fans to look forward to.  Gamers have fun times to look ahead to as well with the impending release of a new Batman game, new Lego game, and more (which is amazing considering this is ususally a big drought period for gamers).  Those of us here on the site aren’t immune to the excitement, and we’ve been anxiously awaiting the start of the Summer.  As such, we’re hoping you stick around with us for all the fun we have planned.

Monday is Star Wars Day (May the 4th), and while we may not be dedicating our entire month to the galaxy far, far away like we did last year, if you know anything about us, we’re not going to be ignoring it either.  We’ll have some fun articles, and maybe even a contest to participate in next week, so be sure to keep your eyes open for that.

Summer Season Prep

It’s a brand new month and that means it’s time for our Movielinx and Gamerlinx columns to usher in some new topics.  All month long in Movielinx we’ll be taking a look at our favorite guilty pleasure movies.  We’ll be talking about why we can’t stop watching them, despite knowing they aren’t what many consider to be “good” films. There’s a reason they stick with us and frequent our watch lists, and we’ll be breaking them down.  On the Gamerlinx side, we’re talking about game changers.  The games we’re discussing changed something fundamental in the industry, whether for gameplay or storytelling, and impacted the way developers worked.

If all that amazing content isn’t enough for you, we have all new episodes of the Super Cool Nerd Show, and the Fathergamer Podcast (which is now on iTunes!).  Not to mention we’ll be continuing to bring the goods with The Recap, plus new episodes of Toy Review Tuesday and Picks From the Rack.  With all these great shows, make sure you’re subscribed to our YouTube Channel to keep up with all our videos and the latest movie/game trailers.

Then, of course, we’re going to continue to bring you all the latest entertainment and geek news that you care about most from the world of toys, comics, movies, and video games.  That’s not going anywhere, and we’ll keep hammering out editorials for all the things you want more information on.  We’ll still be bringing the goods with regular giveaways on the site as well as on our Facebook Page and Twitter (so be sure you’re following us).
