Ring in The New Year With Cinelinx!

There’s no denying that 2014 was pretty amazing for us here on Cinelinx.  Last year around this time we successfully launched our Kickstarter for the Cinelinx Card game, and managed to ship them out and have them on sale.  Movie buffs have been buzzing about the game and we couldn’t be happier.  We brought on new writers, celebrated our first full year of the Super Cool Nerd Show and the Fathergamer Podcast.  Overall, we had an AMAZING year…but you know what?  We’re not about to stop.

We have some big plans for 2015, some of which we can’t talk about just now and you’ll have to wait, but we’re going to still have plenty of fun in January and want to kick off the new year right!  If you haven’t already, be sure to check out our articles looking back on 2014 in which we talk about our favorite games and movies of the past year.  2015 has lots of exciting things as well, and the crew has also discussed the things we’re looking forward to most.  If you haven’t already, be sure to add your most anticipated movies and games to our lists in the comments as well!

But this isn’t about old stuff, it’s a new year and that’s going to bring new articles for the Movielinx and Gamerlinx columns.  The future is always bright in the films, but let’s face, filmmakers haven’t always had the best track record in predicting the technology of the future.  So all month long in January our contributors are looking at some older films who looked ahead to the future and see how accurate they were now that we’re closer to their proposed futures than their release dates.  From Back to the Future to Demolition Man, we’ll be breaking them all down!

That’s not all as January will also see the return of an all new, even better season of the Super Cool Nerd Show, along with new episodes of the Fathergamer Podcast.  Not to mention we’ll be continuing to bring the goods with our newest show The Recap, plus new episodes of Toy Review Tuesday and Picks From the Rack.  We’ve got some other ideas and original programs cooking as well (especially for gaming), but you’ll have to stay tuned for those. In the meantime, make sure you’re subscribed to our YouTube Channel to keep up with all our videos and the latest movie/game trailers.

Then, of course, we’re going to continue to bring you all the latest entertainment and geek news that you care about most from the world of toys, comics, movies, and video games.  That’s not going anywhere, and we’ll keep hammering out editorials for all the things you want more information on.  We’ll still be bringing the goods with regular giveaways on the site as well as on our Facebook Page and Twitter (so be sure you’re following us).

Our 2015 resolution is to make sure we keep putting out content you want in the best way possible, while adding in even more stuff you’ll love to see.  January is just the start of what we know will be a phenomenal year, so we hope you’ll stick around as we kick off the new year on the right foot!
