The Old Guard

Netflix’s big Summer action flick arrives this week with The Old Guard, bringing about a unique take on the immortal warrior story, and managing to work even when it shouldn’t. Check out my full review!

Hamilton

In the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic, with Broadway and the film world grinding to a halt, the news that Disney had pushed up the release of a filmed version of Hamilton from October 2021 to July 3, 2020 took the world by storm. Originally filmed in late June 2016, this filmed stage performance of Hamilton, featuring the original Broadway cast, would give millions their first chance to see one of the hottest shows on Broadway, a title it has held since it premiered in 2015. Did this filmed performance of Hamilton live up to the hype? Keep reading to find out!

The Last of Us Part II (Spoiler Review)

Naughty Dog has released The Last of Us Part II on PlayStation 4. Usually, when I write game reviews I do my best to leave out any spoilers. As to avoid potentially ruining a game for players, I typically just discuss my experience with the games I play and highlight likes/dislikes.  With The Last of Us Part II, however, I feel compelled to openly discuss the game, its story, how emotionally raw and gutted it made me feel. I also believe that the only way to explain why this is the perfect game for 2020 is by speaking openly about it.  Without further ado, this is my Spoiler Review of The Last of Us Part II.

SpongeBob SquarePants: Battle for Bikini Bottom – Rehydrated (REVIEW)

One thing that seems to be missing from the world of video games is pure fun. Yes, there have been games like LittleBigPlanet and others that have filled the void, but during the days of the PS2 those games, we're very easy to find. There was one game though that has been talked about for years because of its simplistic button smashing fun and that is SpongeBob SquarePants: Battle for Bikini Bottom. Today, we will talk about what Purple Lamp Studios have done to make this one of the best looking remakes to come out in recent years. Are you ready kids?? Let's Dive In...

If you've got nothing better to do

Bloodshot is very average, the fact that the comedy relief was the best part should tell you something. I wouldn’t rule out a sequel for it but maybe we should...

The Invisible Man truly becomes a monster!

Even though the Invisible Man has always been one of the many Universal Classic monsters he was nothing more than just a murderer that couldn’t be seen. The realism of...

Generic Clean Family Fun

The movie, much like the first Doctor Dolittle books from the 1920’s, pretty much follows the same format: A man talks to animals, a man then embarks on an ocean...

More time jumps than Dr. Who

I honestly thought this movie would be a tad better. The writers, Paul Wernick and Rhett Reese, have worked together on multiple movies such as Zombieland, Zombieland: Double Tap, &...

Banking on a hit

Elizabeth banks is probably the best person to tackle this movie. A movie about an organization that empowers women to change the world. I would love to see this continue...
