Outside of the first two official images from The Amazing Spider-Man (and a ridiculous amount of blurry set pics), Sony has been fairly stingy with showing off this movie. However, with filming having wrapped a few weeks ago and SDCC fast approaching, they’re cutting loose!
On top of the reports that the first trailer (supposedly clocking in at a full 2 and half minutes!) will be debuting online next week after it airs at SDCC, EW has now updated their website with some high quality official images from the film:
These are just a few, and all of them really focus on the suit. However, if you head on over to EW you can view more pictures from the movie, including our first looks at Uncle Ben (Sheen) and Aunt May (Fields) along with an up close look at the web shooters. In all they are some great pictures and have me totally pumped for the movie.
While I still can’t say I’m anxious to see another Spider-Man origin story on camera, I’m digging the back to comics roots this movie seems to have. I’m a fan of the new suit, though it seems like a lot of people aren’t. Oh well, hopefully we’ll see it in motion next week. In the meantime tell us what you think of the new pics!
