What the hell is happening with X-Men: First Class? The marketing for this thing has been a mess! Can you believe the film releases in about a month and a half and we’ve only seen ONE trailer! I mean, we’ve seen a bunch of international trailers, but all in all we’ve seen about 2 minutes of footage from this film. We’ve seen more from Cowboys and Aliens, and that film doesn’t release for another 4 months! Fox needs to ramp up the marketing for this film big time. This trailer is changing very little in that regaurd. Well we get a couple more shots of some mutant action, only about 10 or 15 seconds of it is new. Can we see a completly new trailer now, Fox? Come on, at least one!
The trailer (which premiered on Fox’s X-Men: First Class Facebook page this afternoon):
Official Plot Synopsis:
X-MEN FIRST CLASS charts the epic beginning of the X-Men saga, and reveals a secret history of famous global events. Before mutants had revealed themselves to the world, and before Charles Xavier and Erik Lehnsherr took the names Professor X and Magneto, they were two young men discovering their powers for the first time. Not archenemies, they were instead at first the closest of friends, working together with other Mutants (some familiar, some new), to prevent nuclear Armageddon. In the process, a grave rift between them opened, which began the eternal war between Magneto’s Brotherhood and Professor X’s X-Men.
X-Men: First Class opens June 3, 2011.
