Blade, Black Panther 2, Fantastic 4, and More In Development

Kevin Feige brought plenty of big announcements to SDCC, but what he teased fans with at the end of the panel were equally awesome.

Between all of the movie and Disney+ show announcements, there was no shortage of jaw-dropping moments during Marvel’s Hall H panel at SDCC. There was so much on display it’s hard to imagine how they could cram in any more…And yet, Feige left fans with some tantalizing bits of information at the end.

As the panel was winding down Feige said there were even more films on the way and in (some level) of production. He didn’t go into any details as he “didn’t have the time” but he dropped a few names:

Black Panther 2
Captain Marvel 2
Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 3 (which brings James Gunn back)

While these were expected, Feige also casually mentioned Fantastic Four and “the Mutants.” While those are still a ways off, the fact that they’re in the works already is pretty damn exciting.

And somehow, that STILL wasn’t all he had to show. To close out the panel (for real this time), Feige brought Mahershala Ali on stage to announce he’s starring in an all new Blade movie! I can’t begin to tell you how excited I am about this one, even though on some level I was hoping to see Wesley Snipes come back. Ali will do a fantastic job, and considering he’s already cast that means they’re moving pretty fast on it…

Which of these upcoming Marvel films are you most excited about?
