When Blade Runner 2 was first announced, their initial release date was far away in 2018. January 12, to be exact. Today, that has changed as Warner Bros. and Alcon Entertainment have revealed a new release date.
Blade Runner 2 has been pushed up to October 6, 2017!
This is joyous news for fans of the original Blade Runner. I, personally, didn’t see it in my early years but recently watched it on HBO. I loved the movie and I can’t wait for the 2nd film, despite the fact that original director Ridley Scott is now only Executive Producer.
There isn’t much of a reason as to why it’s been pushed up. Nevertheless, Blade Runner 2 will now go up against an unknown 20th Century Fox Marvel movie.
The film stars Harrison Ford reprising his role as Rick Deckard, Ryan Gosling, Robin Wright, and Dave Bautista. Principal photography is slated to begin July 2016.
