Bond 25 Lands Cary Fukunaga as Director, Gets New Release Date

The 25th Bond film had a bit of a shake-up the other month when director Danny Boyle left the project, but this morning brings word things are once again moving forward. Cary Fukunaga (Beasts of No Nation and the award-winning first season of True Detective) will be helming the upcoming film. The announcement comes via the franchise’s official Twitter account, revealing filming will begin on March 4, 2019 and we’ll have to wait just a little bit longer to see it. The new release date is February 14, 2020…the perfect Valentine’s movie.

Fukunaga can bring a lot of style to Bond and I’m very eager to see what he can bring to the franchise. What do you think of the new director?
