Check Out the New Trailer for ‘Star Wars: The Complete Saga’ on Blu Ray; Also, A Quick Update on ‘The Phantom Menace’ 3D Conversion

First off, here’s the new trailer for the Star Wars: Complete Saga Blu Ray set.  Like all trailers these days (or at least that’s what it seems like), this one is courtesy of Yahoo! Movies.

Pretty cool, huh?  Honestly, Lucasfilm doesn’t have to try at all for us to buy this; every film fan will be buying this, right?  Well, at least The Original Trilogy.  Still, it was a nicely put together trailer.

Next, Bleeding Cool got a report today that the 3D conversion process for The Phantom Menace has been complete.  The company behind the conversion, Prime Focus, confirmed the news to Bleeding Cool.  Matt Bristowe, the head of production, stated that the conversion is completely done, and was sent off to Lucas a while ago.  Well, Lucas has signed off the conversion, and its now a done deal.  Now, all we have to do is wait.  In all honesty, I just want to see these films back on the big screen (more the Original Trilogy then the Prequel Trilogy), but I just hope The Phantom Menace opens big enough to warrant the conversion of the other films.  I guess time will tell.
