As we inch closer and closer to the start of production on Denis Villeneuve’s Dune fans have had plenty to be excited about with the cast. Now (on top of more awesome casting picks) we finally have a date to be excited about. WB has set the upcoming Sci-Fi epic to drop on November 20, 2020. It’s obviously still a ways away, but with filming slated to begin in the next couple months, we’ll have plenty to keep us hyped.
We’ve posted various articles about the ever-growing cast of the book adaptation, but MAN! So much has happened so fast, it’s been crazy to keep up with. Here’s the cast so far, including the latest additions that happened as recently as yesterday:
Timothee Chalamet as Paul Atreides
Rebecca Ferguson as the Lady Jessica
Stellan Skarsgar as Baron Harkonnen
Dave Bautista as the Beast Rabban
Charlotte Rampling as Reverend Mother Gaius Helen Mohiam
Oscar Isaac as Duke Leto
Javier Bardem as Stilgar
Zendaya as Chani
Josh Brolin as Gurney Halleck
Jason Momoa as Duncan Idaho
Sweet Lord! That’s an incredible cast and there’s still plenty more to come. Let’s just hope the movie can pull it all together and deliver the incredible Dune story on the big screen.
