Dragon Ball Super: Broly Trailer Released at SDCC, Set to be a Remake of the Broly Story!

Toei Animation and Funimation have released the official trailer for their upcoming movie, Dragon Ball Super: Broly. This film has been teased for some months and will be a re-telling of the Broly storyline, that originally released in 1993. The animation in the trailer is fantastic and looks to merge a multitude of artstyles, but really has a heavy influence from the manga.

During the Dragon Ball Super SDCC Panel, Funimation also revealed some new artwork images from the movie. These are transitional pictures of Goku, Vegeta, and Broly, but the one thing we notice is Vegeta finally going SSG(Super Saiyan God)! This is something that was never shown in Dragon Ball Super and we cant wait to see the Prince of all Saiyans finally do something that Goku could not do on his own!

Dragon Ball Super: Broly will release in Japan this December and the West January 2019. For more info on Dragon Ball, Anime, and all things SDCC releated, check back here at Cinelinx!
