‘Fast & Furious’ to End After Two More Films, Justin Lin to Direct Both

It seems all good things do indeed come to an end as it’s been announced that the Fast & Furious main franchise will be ending with two more films to wrap up the story.

Given that the story of Fast & Furious has been in our lives since 2001 (almost twenty years now), you’d be forgiven for believing this story was going to be around forever. And maybe in some form it will, since we have the Hobbs & Shaw spinoff (and a sequel for that in the works), along with a female-led spinoff yet to come. But the main story featuring Dom and his crew is set to finally come to an end with the release of a yet-to-be-made 10th and 11th film, with Justin Lin set to direct both.

If that name sounds familiar, it should. Lin previously directed F9 (to be released on May 28, 2021 we hope), Tokyo Drift, Fast & Furious, Fast Five, and Fast & Furious 6. All total that would mean Lin directed 7 films out of 11 in the main franchise, an impressive number no matter how you look at it.

With his hand in so much of the Fast & Furious saga, I have no doubt that Justin Lin will be able to bring the story of Dom and his crew to a satisfying conclusion.

What do you think of the news that Fast & Furious is finally coming to an end?? Let us know!
