Star Wars: The Force Awakens is once again adorning the cover of Entertainment Weekly (technically 4 covers), and with it comes a slew of new information and images. We’ve seen one or two of these in the trailers already, but most of them are new, and very intriguing.
We shouldn’t be surprised, but seeing Rey and Finn in the snow facing down a maskless Kylo Ren is all kinds of awesome. So far, the imagery we’ve seen for this moment was only Kylo and Finn, so it’s nice to see both heroes in this one. It’s also great to see Han Solo continue to look like the smuggler we all fell in love with (EW also has a great interview with Harrison Ford on reprising his role you should check out).
More importantly, the new images and captions that go along with them confirm some fo the rumors we’d been hearing (i.e. Rey being on Jakku waiting on her parents, and her staff having NOTHING to do with Darth Plagueis). EW is promising more to come throughout today and tomorrow, so be sure to keep your eyes peeled. The marketing is in full swing and I couldn’t be happier.
Which of these new images are your favorites? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below! Star Wars: The Force Awakens hits theaters on December 18, 2015.
