Finally It’s Here, the Incredibles 2 Teaser

I hope you’ll agree when I say Incredibles is flat out one of the best movies in the superhero genre. I left the theater from the first one fulfilled and I could not wait for the sequel to this successful hit. But that was 2004 and fans have said for years where is the sequel? No don’t do another Cars movie! Hey do we really need this new Toy Story sequel? But finally we have a release date and teaser for Incredibles 2 Check it out.

Okay it’s not much and it looks like it picks up right after Incredibles as we find Bob Parr excited to find out little Jack-Jack, why does he have that name, has developed powers. Official synopsis reveals

“Everyone’s favorite family of superheroes is back in “Incredibles 2” – but this time Helen (voice of Holly Hunter) is in the spotlight, leaving Bob (voice of Craig T. Nelson) at home with Violet (voice of Sarah Vowell) and Dash (voice of Huck Milner) to navigate the day-to-day heroics of “normal” life. It’s a tough transistion for everyone, made tougher by the fact that the family is still unaware of baby Jack-Jack’s emerging superpowers. When a new villain hatches a brilliant and dangerous plot, the family and Frozone (voice of Samuel L. Jackson) must find a way to work together again—which is easier said than done, even when they’re all Incredible.”

So it looks like that scene will take place well into the movie but this is a great day for fans of the first movie. Craig T. Nelson as Bob Parr (Mr. Incredible), Holly Hunter as Helen Parr (Elasti-Girl), Sarah Vowell as Violet Parr, Huck Milner as Dasielle (Dash) Par, Samuel L. Jackson as Lucius Best (Frozone), and John Ratzenberger as The Underminer are all returning to their respective roles and Brad Bird will be directing again. Let’s just hope he also gives us some more Edna Mode as he was the voice the first time around. Look for Incredibles 2 June 15th, 2018.
