Find Your Best Friend in the First Trailer for Wes Anderson’s Isle of Dogs

You have to give it to Wes Anderson, he certainly is original.  I don’t think I’ve ever seen another director who can mimic the same formula in live-action as Anderson can in animated films.  Isle of Dogs is the perfect examply of this, as Anderson captures the story of the Japanese government banishing/quarantining their dogs to an island of trash in the trademark way only he can create.

This film looks like so much fun.  I’ve always enjoyed Wes Anderson’s unique way of storytelling, and Isle of Dogs looks like it’ll be another fun film for moviegoers.  Furthermore, this has the potential to be one of Anderson’s more successful animated films, as it features an all-star cast, along with an intriguing story.

Isle of Dogs releases March 23, 2018 starring Edward Norton, Jeff Goldblum, Bryan Cranston, Scarlett Johannson, Ken Watanabe, Bill Murray, Tilda Swinton, Liev Shreiber, just to name a few.
