First ‘Captain America’ trailer arrives

And it was very…nice.  Personally, I’ve never been a super huge fan of Marvel’s marketing.  While it’s always serviceable, it isn’t exactly impressive.  But to be fair, Iron Man didn’t have much of a trailer, and that managed to be a great film.

There were a lot of things to like in this trailer.  I’m actually digging Chris Evans as Captain America, despite all the shortcomings I used to have about him getting the role (when he was cast, I actually thought John Krasinski from The Office would have been more convincing in the role).  And it looks like Stanley Tucci is hamming it up, which is always a plus in my book.  Please don’t disappoint us, Captain America. We need you now more than ever.
