First Official Trailer for Logan Shows a More Intimate Story

X-Men and Wolverine fans have been anxious to see the first footage from Logan, which will mark the final outing for Hugh Jackman as the iconic hero.  It’s truly an impressive feat as he’s been portraying the character long since any other studio THOUGHT about crafting a superhero cinematic universe.  The fact that he’s been able, and willing, to come back so many times has been one of the highlights of Fox’s X-Men franchise.

Following on from a slew of teaser images, today brings about our first real look at Logan and how they’re adapting the “Old Man Logan” comic line:

Gonna be honest…I love this trailer.  It’s much slower pace and doesn’t seem like your typical comic book movie and that’s exactly why I’m excited.  The cast of characters is significantly smaller, with the focus seeming to be on Logan, Professor X, and the little girl.  It feels like a more intimate story, and seeing Wolverine scarred, battered, and old is something I’m interested in seeing on the big screen.  It’s an actual shift for his character into something we haven’t seen before.

Logan hits theaters on March 3, 2017.  What do you guys think of the trailer?
