First Poster and Images for Ghostbusters: Afterlife Released; Trailer to Release Monday

We are rapidly approaching the first full reveal of Jason Reitman‘s next chapter to the iconic original Ghostbusters film series. This Monday, Sony and Columbia Pictures will finally give us a full length trailer for Ghostbusters: Afterlife. Earlier this year, word broke that Reitman was working on a secret Ghostbusters film. The next day, a teaser featuring the iconic Ecto-1 was released.

Now, the first teaser poster (pictured) for Ghostbusters: Afterlife has been revealed. As you can see, the Ecto-1 is no longer stuck within the confines of that mysterious barn. It’s now free to do what it does best.

Moreover, since the teaser in January, Carrie Coon, Finn Wolfhard, Mckenna Grace, and Paul Rudd have joined the project. First look images, courtesy of Vanity Fair, sees that cast of characters handling a bevy of Ghostbusters lore. See below…

From director Jason Reitman and producer Ivan Reitman, comes the next chapter in the original Ghostbusters universe. In Ghostbusters: Afterlife, when a single mom and her two kids arrive in a small town, they begin to discover their connection to the original ghostbusters and the secret legacy their grandfather left behind. The film is written by Jason Reitman & Gil Kenan.

Ghostbusters: Afterlife releases in theaters on July 10, 2020.
