First Trailer for Bill & Ted Face the Music Has Arrived

This morning brings the first trailer for the return of Bill & Ted, showcasing the iconic duo traveling forward in time to unite the world.

If you glance on the calendar, you’ll notice today is 6/9, which means it’s absolutely the perfect day to drop the first trailer for Bill & Ted Face the Music!

It’s so dumb, but at the same time makes me so incredibly happy. I loved these movies when I was a kid and watched them constantly. The trailer itself brings a solid dose of nostalgia, while showing off some modern visuals that help launched it forward. While it’s a short trailer, I’m very much eager to see this one. Oh, and we also have this swanky new poster to enjoy!

Directed by Dean Parisot with returning franchise writers Chris Matheson and Ed Solomon, the film will continue to track the time-traveling exploits of William “Bill” S. Preston Esq. and Theodore “Ted” Logan. Yet to fulfill their rock and roll destiny, the now middle aged best friends set out on a new adventure when a visitor from the future warns them that only their song can save life as we know it. Along the way, they will be helped by their daughters, a new batch of historical figures, and a few music legends — to seek the song that will set their world right and bring harmony in the universe.

Bill & Ted Face the Music is currently slated to arrive on August 21, 2020 (but as we’ve seen…things could change). What do you think of this first trailer?
