Maybe because it’s early in the morning, but this trailer just felt way too sappy for me. OMG, the horse is galloping across a battlefield! I know it’s just a teaser, but the trailer almost showed nothing about the movie itself. The young boy wants to reunite with his horse! How sweet!!! Sometimes, this literally felt like a spoof trailer for an Oscar bait film, overly sentimental John Williams music and all. John Williams is a genius, what a beautiful piece of music! I get it Dreamworks, Spielberg knows how to direct a good shot, how about you give us something more than galloping horses? The cinematography is downright gorgeous! Best I’ve seen in a trailer all year! It’s trailers like these that make me sick to the core of my stomach. Give this man an Oscar already!
Yeah, just give him his Oscar…
