Jason Bateman and Ryan Reynolds to Remake Clue

Col. Mustard, in the library with the candlestick. Or Jason Bateman In Hollywood, with a Deadpool.

That’s right, it looks like Clue is coming back to the big screen finally. Rumblings have been heard for while about a remake of the beloved comedy based on the classic game of the same name. Deadline is reporting that Jason Batemen is looking to reteam with his The ChangeUp co-star Ryan Reynolds to bring the film back to the screen.

Clue, was originally directed by JonathanLynn, who also co-wrote the script with John Landis. The film starred some of the greatest character actors of all time with Tim Curry, Eileen Brennan, Michael McKean, Madeline Kahn, Christopher Lloyd, and Lesley Ann Warren. It featured multiple whodunit endings, and legit one of my all-time favorite comedies. I am excited for this news, and look forward to what the team of Bateman and Reynolds can bring us.
