Joe Manganiello Announces Batman Solo Film Shooting in Spring

In a classic villain move, Joe Manganiello refuted Ben Affleck‘s recent comments that stated that the upcoming Batman solo flick was, “not happening yet”.  Manganiello debunked Affleck’s announcement, nonchalantly, with Entertainment Tonight.

During the Mohegan Sun 20th Anniversary Party Manganiello was asked how he was feeling after a “mysterious health scare” the actor set to play Slade Wilson/Deathstroke replied, “Great, man, just getting ready to go shoot Batman in the spring.”

While Spring is a rather innoculous date to go off of, it does set up the untitled movie to fill the empty DC Comics movie slot of October 5, 2018.

All other information regarding the Batman movie is being kept tightly under wraps.  The only thing we know, as of this moment, is that Ben Affleck will be Batman, Joe Manganiello will be Slade Wilson/Deathstroke, and they’d like to start shooting in the Spring.

A lot could change between now and then so keep it here for more!
