With just a month to go before Godzilla‘s return to the big screen, Warner Bros. has unleashed a ridiculously impressive final trailer for King of the Monsters. Come inside to check it out!
This may sound like blasphemy, but if you were to tell me I could only see one film this Summer, Avengers: Endgame or Godzilla: King of the Monsters….I’d say Godzilla. I know, crazy right. But, I mean, DAMN. Just look at this final trailer Warner Bros. released this morning and tell me the hype isn’t real:
Sure, it’s not the 5-minute extended trailer that was shown at CinemaCon, or this past weekend on HBO (for those watching Game of Thrones), but it’s no less impressive and awe-inspiring. The monster action looks like it’s on another level entirely and I can’t wait to fill my eyeballs with it on the biggest screen possible.
Following the global success of “Godzilla” and “Kong: Skull Island” comes the next chapter in Warner Bros. Pictures’ and Legendary Pictures’ cinematic MonsterVerse, an epic action adventure that pits Godzilla against some of the most popular monsters in pop culture history. The new story follows the heroic efforts of the crypto-zoological agency Monarch as its members face off against a battery of god-sized monsters, including the mighty Godzilla, who collides with Mothra, Rodan, and his ultimate nemesis, the three-headed King Ghidorah. When these ancient super-species—thought to be mere myths—rise again, they all vie for supremacy, leaving humanity’s very existence hanging in the balance.
Godzilla: King of the Monsters hits theaters on May 31, 2019.
