When the world is becoming overrun with dinosaurs, who better to call than the experts like Dr. Grant, Dr. Sattler, and Dr. Malcolm?
Fans of the Jurassic Park franchise have even more to look forward to with the next film in the Jurassic World series, as the original actors will be returning for one more adventure. Last night, during a special screening of Jurassic World, director Colin Trevorrow announced the return of the iconic cast.
While there’s no details on how they’ll be incorporated into the Jurassic World 3 story (which also has Bryce Dallas Howard and Chris Pratt returning), but it’s exciting nonetheless. Laur Dern and Sam Neill both reprised their Ellie Sattler and Alan Grant roles for Jurassic Park 3, with Jeff Goldblum coming back for an all too brief cameo in 2018’s Fallen Kingdom.
Not since the first film have all three characters been on the big screen in the same film. To say I’m ecstatic is something of an understatement. Between this news and the impressive live-action short film, Battle at Big Rock, my hype for the future of Jurassic World is higher than it’s ever been. Let’s just hope the film ultimately delivers.
Jurassic World 3 is slated to hit theaters on June 11, 2021.
