With the incredible success that the 2 Jump Street films have had, it only makes sense that the franchise continues. The question was always weather or not the post credits in 22 Jump Street were really what we had to look forward too.
The Sony Hacks lead us to believe that the faith they had in Jump Street franchise was going to lead them to jump start a new Men In Black film. Most of us laughed the idea off thinking there was no way we would see a 4th MiB crossover with Jump Street. After Sony’s presentation at Cinema Con however, we learned that not only is 23 Jump Street coming, but we officially have a title, and that is MiB 23.
Word is that niether of the Men In Black stars Will Smith, nor Tommy Lee Jones will be returning to the franchise, making this installment not only a sequel in the Jump Street franchise, but a soft reboot for the Men in Black. I assume we will have a few new agents to join Jenko (Tatum) and Schmidt (Hill)
Phil Lord and Chris Miller, the directors of 21 and 22 Jump Street will stay on the project but only as Producers along with Neal Moritz. And we look to have James Bobin (The Muppets) take over the directors duties.
