Nic (Annette Benning) and Jules (Julianne Moore) have spent their lives raising their three kids: 18 year old Joni (Mia Wasikowska) and Laser (Josh Hutcherson). Joni and Laser share the same biological father, an unknown sperm donor they never left. Before Joni heads to college, she decides to find out who that sperm donor is and get him to meet the rest of her family.

The 2nd of 3 nominees I haven’t seen. I’m sure it’s a good movie, but no way will it win anything. It’s lucky just to be invited to the party.
