This morning brings a new trailer for Ryan Reynolds’ Free Guy, showing off plenty of action, humor, and a surprising amount of heart.
One of the last remaining studio films of the Fall season is Free Guy. It’s not an envious position to be in, but I’ll be damn if this movie doesn’t look like a ridiculous amount of fun:
Crazy to think it’s been almost a full year since the last (first) trailer we saw for this movie arrived. Even then it looked fun, but today’s trailer has really hooked me on this movie. Between the action, the concept, and the unexpected touching moments, this trailer has me ready to watch.
So far, Free Guy is sticking to its December 11, 2020 release date (and on social media has poked fun about other movies leaving and how everything can change in a heartbeat). With at least one major theater chain closing down until next year, I wonder how many theaters will be open for it to show in.
Ryan Reynolds stars as a bank teller who discovers he is actually a background player in an open-world video game, and decides to become the hero of his own story—one he rewrites himself. Now in a world where there are no limits, he is determined to be the guy who saves his world his way, before it is too late.
Will you be checking out Free Guy this December?
