When a scene isn’t quite right, the director will typically call for a 2nd take. In regards to the character posters for Solo: A Star Wars Story, Disney and Lucasfilm are taking a page out of that book and calling Take 2. After being accused of plagiarism with the first poster reveal, by a French artist with a convincing claim, the mouse has decided to put the initial ideas in the shredder in favor of new posters with a pretty iconic background.

While the first posters were pretty sweet looking, I can’t help but really like the Millenium Falcon cockpit window in the background more. It makes more sense as the Millenium Falcon and Han Solo go hand-in-hand as much as Chewy and Han do. As far as the characters themselves, it’s nice to see Paul Bettany‘s Dryden have clearer scars than previous pictures have shown. Now, we can actually see how brutal this man looks. Finally, it’s interesting to see that Jon Favreau‘s Rio gets his own poster. One wonders if he’ll have a big part to play.
We’ll find out when Solo: A Star Wars Story hits theaters May 25, 2018!
