Lie to Me

* 20th Century Fox has announced that the third and final season of the TV show Lie To Me will be hitting DVD on October 4th.

Ice Age Continental Drift poster

* The teaser poster for Ice Age: Continental Drift (really, another one?) has been released and focuses on the same character they always have.

* Ghostbusters is coming back to theaters, though not in the form of the sequel we all want (and don’t want at the same time).  The official Ghostbusters Facebook fan page announced that the original 1984 classic will get a rerelease in theaters for the month of October.  No real details have been announced (number of theaters, dates, etc), though more than likely it’s an attempt to gauge how much interest is left in this property.

Dark Shadows

* The first set photos (courtesy of Celebuzz) from Dark Shadows gives fans their first look at Johnny Depp as the vampire Barnabus Collins.  Yep, looks like a Tim Burton film!

The Spectre

* Deadline broke the news that Fox is now working with DC on bringing the fan favorite character, The Spectre, to life via a television show.

Liam Neeson Collection

* Here’s something awesome for all you Liam Neeson Fans out there.  Fox is releasing a massive 10-disc DVD set called The Liam Neeson Collection.  It brings together 10 of his best films from over the years into one set, which will release on November 1st.

* Dreamworks released a new trailer spot for Real Steel, titled “Hit Back”.

X-Men First Class

* Film School Rejects have created their own drinking game for when you watch X-Men: First Class at home (if you’re over 21 that is).

Dirty Dancing Facebook Game

* Lionsgate has launched a Dirty Dancing Facebook game….Not even joking about this one. It should be launching very soon.

Tyler Perry

* Tyler Perry managed to beat out both Jerry Bruckheimer and Steven Spielberg to top Forbes list of the highest paid men in entertainment.  Wow.

Wrong Turn 4

* Straight to blu-ray movie Wrong Turn 4: Bloody Beginnings (is it bad that I didn’t even know about 2 & 3?), will be hitting store shelves October 25th.  It’s apparently a prequel to the entire franchise and it’s directed by the guy who made Sharktopus….Yeah.
