Despite the marketing for the film kicking back up recently, the studios have made the decision to push Daniel Craig’s final James Bond film into 2021.
No Time To Die was among the first films to put on the brakes and change its release date in the early days of the COVID pandemic and now it’s moving once again. This comes just days after the release of Billie Eilish’s music video, another key to their renewed marketing push.
No Time To Die will now hit theaters on April 2, 2021 (Easter weekend). This puts it almost exactly a year off from its original release date.
It’s not wholly unexpected, especially after Tenet has failed to under-perform, but it’s a bummer nonetheless. I suspect this won’t be the last big studio film to move to 2021, which leaves theaters in even worse circumstances than before.
