Put a Song in Your Heart for Pixar’s Coco Teaser Trailer

While we’ve known about Pixar’s next film, Coco, for a little while now, today brings about our first official trailer for this year’s animated adventure.  This time around, viewers will delve into the heart of Mexican culture as we journey to the land of the dead:

While the trailer doesn’t give away much of the actual plot, it establishes the basics and gives us a good understanding of the primary character we’ll be following around on through the film.  Once again the animation looks incredible, and I’m digging the look they’ve gone with this time around.  Color me intrigued….

Despite his family’s baffling generations-old ban on music, Miguel (voice of newcomer Anthony Gonzalez) dreams of becoming an accomplished musician like his idol, Ernesto de la Cruz (voice of Benjamin Bratt). Desperate to prove his talent, Miguel finds himself in the stunning and colorful Land of the Dead following a mysterious chain of events. Along the way, he meets charming trickster Hector (voice of Gael García Bernal), and together, they set off on an extraordinary journey to unlock the real story behind Miguel’s family history.

Coco hits theaters on November 22, 2017
