During Disney’s big Investor’s Day presentation, the studios announced that Raya And The Last Dragon will get a VOD launch on the same day it hits theaters!
While Disney has plenty more announcements to come, one of the first things they touched on was the expansion of content coming to Disney+ and Disney+ Premiere Access (the VOD component they used to release Mulan).
While they promised more to come later on in the four hour presentation, they went ahead and revealed that Raya and the Last Dragon will be available at home, via the Premiere Access, on March 5, 2021…the same day it hits theaters.
So, kinda like Warner Bros. announced for their slate, this film will get a hybrid release allowing audiences to watch the latest release in the way they feel safest. No word on pricing for this one (I hope it’s not the $30 they tried with Mulan), but we’ll update this article as the information becomes available.
