Surrender to the Dance in the New Suspiria Trailer

In all fairness, I didn’t care for the first Suspiria trailer. It did a decent job of setting the tone for the witch-filled thriller, but little to actually pique my interest. Today’s new, full, trailer for the upcoming horror film has me hook, line, and sinker!

Throughout, there’s a pervasive sense of something being…off. Things aren’t what they seem. You know it, but it’s hard to place, and because of that, the tension just skyrockets. Couple that with more teasing glimpses/ideas about the witches, and I’m anxious to see the rest of it. I’m still not sure it’s gonna be my kind of flick (I’m a weenie), but this trailer has done an impressive job of making me want to watch it play out.

A darkness swirls at the center of a world-renowned dance company, one that will engulf the troupe’s artistic director (Swinton), an ambitious young dancer (Johnson), and a grieving psychotherapist (Ebersdorf). Some will succumb to the nightmare. Others will finally wake up.

Suspiria hits limited theaters on October 26th, before a wide release on November 2nd
