The 12 Days of Deadpool Ends With An Awesome New Trailer

On the 12th Day of Deadpool, 20th Century Fox gave to us…a brand new trailer! (Red Band)

The new trailer for Deadpool (Ryan Reynolds) gives us more insight into the backstory of Wade Wilson and how he became Deadpool, through the Weapon X program.  We even get to see more footage of Deadpool mowing down his enemies is creative, Deadpool-esque ways.  In the trailer, Deadpool admits that this isn’t a superhero film, it’s not supposed to be.  Deadpool is the quintessential anti-hero and makes no apologies about it.  The trailer is great, the Deadpool lines are hilarious, and Negasonic Teenage Warhead look awesome!  All in all, Deadpool is looking better and better.

In case you missed it, let’s recap all the wonderous 12 Days of Deadpool!

On the 11th Day of Deadpool, 20th Century Fox gave to us…a new TV spot to preview the new trailer!

The TV spot does give us a brief glimpse into the movie’s premise as well as some new footage but it pales in comparison to the full length trailer.  The holiday theme behind the spot does put the movie in a whole different light.

On the 10th Day of Deadpool, Ryan Reynolds’ official Youtube gave to us…an hour long ‘Pool Log!

The entire 1:09:04 begins with Deadpool lighting his ‘Pool Log paper bag in front of some unsuspecting stranger’s door.  The following hour plus video is nothing but the fire burning, what we believe to be, a flame retardent bag while Christmas music chimes in the background.  Trust us on this, we watched the entire video.

On the 9th Day of Deadpool, IMAX gave to us…an exclusive Deadpool Poster and Giant Chimichanga!

This exclusive poster is reminscent of any Indiana Jones poster and that’s what makes it so great. Also, anyone else see “The Dude” from “The Big Lebowski” in T.J. Miller?  Also, Stan Lee!

As far as the video goes, that’s a huge chimichanga!  Also, props to the old 90’s “This is Your Brain” gimmick.

On the 8th Day of Deadpool, Mashable gave to us…Deadpool Emojis!

DP Emojis Complete Set

The idea to make Deadpool emojis is a brilliant one, and this is coming from the guy who doesn’t even use emojis.  The problem is, it didn’t work on my phone.  That may be different for others but from the comments I read on the download page, it seems I wasn’t alone. If you’d like to check them out for yourself, though, you can download them here.

On the 7th Day of Deadpool, deadpoolcore.com gave to us…a Holiday Letter from Deadpool!

You remember those Holiday Cards you get from friends or family where they recap their entire year and give you a status on how everyone is currently?  Yeah, this is Deadpool’s version and it’s far more entertaining!

On the 6th Day of Deadpool, JoBlo gave to us…a Deadpool-edited Deadpool Movie Script!

I will admit, I giggled at this.  There are some hilarious notes on this script.  Also, from what we see through the scribble, this looks to be a pretty cool scene.

On the 5th Day of Deadpool, Fandango gave to us…A Parody Deadpool Poster!

It’s very reminiscent of Step-Brothers but more festive.  Very Sears photo-center.

On the 4th Day of Deadpool, Empire gave to us…A Cover and A Christmas List!

There isn’t much going on with the poster.  However, the Christmas List is pretty good.  I especially liked the jab at Fox with the Sewing knock.

On the 3rd Day of Deadpool, DeviantArt gave to us…Deadpool Battle Plans!

The nod to Home Alone is pretty cool, as well as the Stan Lee figure, Wolverine Claws, and Chimichanga.  However, this is just silly PR with nothing of substance with it…unless this battle plan is actually in the movie…

On the 2nd Day of Deadpool, People gave to us…a gif of Ryan Reynolds!

You can check out the gif here, fair warning it is just Reynolds having some fun with the Deadpool cardboard cutout you’ll find at theaters.

On the 1st Day of Deadpool, Entertainment Weekly gave to us…a new Movie Poster!

This is the same poster we showed you on the kickoff.  It’s still a pretty great poster.

Finally, the video that kicked it all off!

What do you think of the new trailer and the 12 Days of Deadpool?  Let us know!
