The 2021 Movie Schedule is Stacked

We’re looking ahead to all the major films that have now found a home in 2021, to prepare audiences for what to look forward to.

This morning brought about more 2020 movies being pushed into next year. It’s not entirely unexpected but it sure makes for a crowded 2021. With the recent delays, I thought we’d take an EARLY look to the year ahead and see what awaits theater goers in 2021. In short…it’s a lot.

Below you’ll find the current 2021 theatrical schedule—one I suspect I’ll be updating frequently. For this list, I’ve only included theatrical releases. That’s not to mention some of the films delayed into 2021 (Candyman) that haven’t been given firm dates yet.

So even as massive as this seems, it still doesn’t include films going straight to streaming (HBO Max, Netflix, Prime, Disney+) nor the indie films that will likely hit VOD. As we get closer to those releases we’ll adjust the schedule some.
