The Batman, The Flash, and More DC Films Pushed into 2022 and 2023

Following the Dune delay, Matt Reeves’ The Batman has been shifted into 2022, shuffling around the rest of the future DC film slate as well.

After Warner Bros bumped Dune back nearly a full year, it was only a matter of time before more of their films got shifted around as well. It was inevitable, but definitely a bummer nonetheless as eager comic book movie fans will have quite some time to wait:

The Batman moves from Oct. 1, 2021 to March 4, 2022

The Flash jumps from June 3, 2022 to Nov. 4, 2022

Shazam! Fury of the Gods leaves Nov. 4, 2022 and moves to June 2, 2023

Black Adam was slated for December 22, 2021 but is now Unset

For now, it looks like Wonder Woman 1984 is sticking to its new December 25th release date, so we’ll at least have SOME sort of DC action to look forward to in the near future. Let’s just hope there are still some theaters around (and it’s safe) to go to when these hit!
