Amazon Prime’s super hot show, The Boys, has scored itself a spinoff series after only 2 seasons.
Although the new show does not have a title at the moment we do know that the series will take place at an exclusive American college for super-powered students – which just happens to be run by Vought International. The spinoff is described as an irreverent, R-rated series that explores the lives of hormonal, competitive Supes as they put their physical, sexual, and moral boundaries to the test, competing for the best contracts in the best cities. Part college show, part Hunger Games.
Eric Kripke had a few ‘choice’ words to tweet about the news of the spinoff:
THAT'S RIGHT, MOTHERFUCKERS.
(Seriously, I'm so grateful to you all for making #TheBoys such a huge success. I'm having the time of my life, so I can't thank you enough. Much, MUCH more to come!)#TheBoysTV @TheBoysTV @PrimeVideo #SPNFamily https://t.co/mJymsIxbx9

The Boys is currently in its second season and although we don’t have the exact numbers we do know it is crushing last season’s viewership numbers, which were estimated to be around 4.1 million viewers per episode, by 89% after only 2 weeks. No date has been given as to when we can expect to see this series but I, for one, can’t wait for this to hit Amazon Prime.
