All kidding aside this show looks absolutely fantastic. Good Omens features David Tennant as the demon, Crowley and Michael Sheen as the angel, Aziraphale. Crowley has lived on earth since the beginning of time; in fact he was the chap that got a sweet little lady by the name of Eve to snack on an apple dooming all mankind to suffering, sickness, and death. Aziraphale has been here almost as long as Crowley and they are both here as representatives of Heaven and Hell, and oddly enough best friends.
Now it’s 2018, the son of Satan is born and the end times are coming. Aziraphale and Crowley don’t like this one bit. After being on earth so long they’ve grown accustomed to the comfortable lives they have on earth and they don’t want it to end. The duo then embark on a plan to sabotage the coming of the end times. lets check out the teaser clip shall we?
If Tennant and Sheen alone don’t make you want to watch this maybe the rest of the ensemble cast might. Frances McDormand (Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri) as God in the series, and Benedict Cumberbatch (Doctor Strange) will be playing Satan. The rest of the cast includes Jon Hamm (Baby Driver), Jack Whitehall (The Nutcracker and the Four Realms), Michael McKean (Better Call Saul), Adria Arjona (Pacific Rim: Uprising), Nina Sosanya (Strike Back: Retribution), Ned Dennehy (Peaky Blinders), Ariyon Bakare (Life), Mark Gatiss (Game of Thrones), Derek Jacobi (Murder on the Orient Express), Nick Offerman (Bad Times at the El Royale) and Miranda Richardson (Stronger).
