With the hype for the second season of The Mandalorian at a fever pitch, it’s been revealed that someone familiar will be returning, the series composer, Ludwig Göransson.
The new season of The Mandalorian is set to arrive in a few months on Disney+, and while we still don’t know all that much about what’s going to happen, we have learned one thing for certain: series composer Ludwig Göransson will be returning to score the new season.
In a recent interview, Ludwig Göransson shared his excitement for working on The Mandalorian season 2:
“We started a couple of months ago, and I’m extremely excited. Jon’s taking the story into places that I didn’t know existed, and I think it’s so fun.”
Given how the music was one of the best things about the first season of The Mandalorian, this is truly wonderful news. Göransson’s return means he’ll have the chance to build on old themes and expand into new directions as the story continues. It will also be exciting to see what these new places are that season 2 of The Mandalorian is being taken to.
Season 2 of The Mandalorian will arrive on Disney+ in October 2020.
