CW Superhero Universe amping up for major crossover

Since the conception of The Flash coming out of Arrow, the crossover events between the two have been stable for each season. And they continued as the world began to grow with the growth of the universe with Legends of Tomorrow. Bigger and bigger these events became. We even saw our beloved Flash crossover outside the CW to it’s parent company of CBS to crossover with Supergirl. And now that Supergirl has joined the rest of the ArrowVerse on the CW, it looks like we are in for the biggest crossover yet.

The patriarch of this ArrowVerse, Stephen Amell, who plays the titular character Oliver Queen The Arrow on Arrow, has taken to his Instagram account to reveal a very cryptic photo which you can see below.

Coming soon.

From the look of it Amell is on set hanging with the likes of The Flash (Grant Gustin), Supergirl (Melissa Benoist), The White Canary (Caity Lotz), and Brandon Routh (The Atom). It comes with the very teaser-ific caption of “Coming Soon”.

Now that Supergirl has moved production to Vancouver, where the rest of the ArrowVerse films, it seems more likely there will be much more crossover with her and the rest of the world Greg Berlanti has built. According to EW, Berlanti was quoted in saying that they are “just about to start breaking the crossover episodes”. When talking about how they would all connect, he said “I’m going to probably try and have one unifying threat, as opposed to different things on different ones, which is what the first year was.

This pic comes off the heels of Amell posting his photo with Supergirl’s new Superman, Tyler Hoechlin. All though it is belived that the Man of Steel will not be a part of the crossover event as he is only scheduled for the two part season premier of Supergirl.

You’ll never believe who I ran into today…
