The DCTV panels are usually a big event at SDCC typically taking place in Ballroom 20 of the convention center and showcases the multitude of DC TV shows most of which live on the CW. However since Covid-19 has put the kibosh on many events, we were unable to view panels such as The Flash, Black lightning, & Legends of Tomorrow.

Thanks to DC Fandome we’re finally going to get the first of the DC TV show panels starting with The Flash. We’ve had a few changes with the show since the lockdown happened. First, because of the current global pandemic, the season was cut short from 22 episodes to 19. After some racist and misogynistic tweets from 2012 and 2014 resurfaced, Hartley Sawyer (Elongated Man) was fired from the show. 2020 has been one hell of a decade.

Anyway, the 15-minute panel consisted of cast members Grant Gustin, Candice Patton, Danielle Panabaker, Carlos Valdes, Danielle Nicolet, Kayla Compton, Brandon McKnight, and executive producer Eric Wallace giving us a breakdown of season 6. We also get an exclusive look at the special Black and White noir episode (S6EP5) “Kiss Kiss Breach Breach”, which will be available on Season 6 Blu-ray and DVD on Aug 25th

Oh, and if you happen to be interested there was a trailer showing us what’s coming for season 7. Check it out below:

As mentioned, the Flash shutdown production early with episode 20 being 85% complete, thus the episode is now getting revamped to kick off season 7. The Flash will return to CW with season 7, January 2021.
