DVD Review: Phineas and Ferb: The Perry Files

This collects seven episodes of the hit series which all focus on Perry the Platypus. Each one features two different stories. As Agent P, the brave mammal takes on Dr. Doofenshmirtz’s “inators,” goes up against the deceptive agent Dennis the Bunny, and solves other capers.

The adventures are zany and the characters are quirky. What more can children of all ages (adults included) ask for? There are a few references to things that will go over the heads of kids, but that’s what makes the show tolerable to watch for older viewers.

There are a couple of special features included that will thrill fans of the show. The featurette “Nerves of Teal” acts as a recruitment video for the OWCA (Organization Without a Cool Acronym). It will let your kids know if they’re prepared to become an agent like Perry. The other feature is a guided tour of the Platybus. The second disc includes a digital copy of the movie. It also comes with an activity pack that includes a puzzle, stickers, and other fun items.

The Phineas and Ferb: The Perry Files Two-Disc Combo Pack will provide hours of fun for the kids and you. If you’re trying to get a little time to yourself, Perry never fails to keep the young ones entertained. It’s also a show that won’t leave older viewers attempting to gouge their eyes out like they want to while watching other annoying animated shows.
