Last year brought Star Wars fans (especially the younger ones) a new animated series to enjoy with The Freemaker Adventures. The series put the focus on a new family in the galaxy far, far away and their journey saw them cross paths with some iconic characters and events. While the show doesn’t technicaly fit into the new ‘canon’, that allows it to have a lot of fun, bringing the typical LEGO humor to the forefront.
We got our first look at season two of The Freemaker Adventures back in April, but today brings new information (and images) for the show, specifically when you’ll be able to watch it:
“LEGO Star Wars: The Freemaker Adventures” returns SATURDAY, JUNE 17 (11:00 a.m. ET/PT) with a preview of the first episode of season two – “Trouble on Tibalt.”
The season premieres MONDAY, JULY 31 (7:00 a.m. ET/PT) with new episodes every Monday through Thursday at 7:00 a.m. ET/PT thereafter until Wednesday, August 16th.
I don’t fully get why they scheduled it out this way…but hey, at least we’re getting a heads up and can set our calendars/DVRs accordingly. Along with the schedule, however, we also have a new video clip from the upcoming season premiere, along with a slew of new images:
At the end of the first season, the Freemaker family found a new home with the Rebel fleet. Their new circumstances bring them face to face with brutal Imperial forces, desperate Hutts, conniving Sith Lords, and the Emperor’s latest plaything, M-OC, a terrifying hunter droid who continually modifies himself to fit any occasion. In response to these threats, Rowan’s powers grow and strengthen until he has a vision of a sleek, invulnerable ship that can save the Rebellion and stop the Empire in its tracks – the Arrowhead. The catch is, the Arrowhead is a ship only Rowan can build. Once again, it’s up to the youngest Freemaker to save the galaxy.
