A matter of days after the first teaser footage for Yashahime: Princess Half-Demon was revealed, the full trailer for the Inuyasha sequel has been released.
To the delight of anime fans, the official trailer for Yashahime: Princess Half-Demon has been released, giving everyone their best look yet at the upcoming sequel to the beloved Inuyasha series.
The trailer looks amazing. We get to see each of the main “half-demon” characters, Towa, Setsuna, and Moroha, in action. A lot of the footage appears to be the completed form of what was glimpsed in the teaser footage shown at Otakon Online 2020. Most importantly, i in my opinion, this trailer also ties the series into events from Inuyasha, explaining how the premise of the sequel series (Towa being trapped in the present) is set into motion. I’m sure this trailer only scratches the surface, but it’s great to see (and hear) the main characters of Yashahime: Princess Half-Demon at last!
An adventure following Sesshomaru’s half-demon twin daughters, Towa and Setsuna, as they set out to discover the mysteries of their past along with Moroha, the daughter of Inuyasha and Kagome.
Currently, we know that Towa Higurashi will be voiced by Sara Matsumoto, Setsuna will be voiced by Mikako Komatsu, and Moroha will be voiced by Azusa Tadokoro. And thanks to this official trailer we also know that Yashahime: Princess Half-Demon will arrive in October 2020.
