San Diego Comic-Con gave us our first real look at the upcoming Harley Quinn animated series coming to the DC Universe streaming service.
While Marvel stole the show last night, that doesn’t mean DC fans were left entirely out in the cold. WB showed off an all new (violent and swear-filled) trailer for the Harley Quinn series coming to DC Universe later this year:
I honestly don’t know what I was expecting, but I absolutely loved this trailer. The humor seems spot on, and the mix of iconic characters in this new setting really clicks together. Couple all that with an incredible cast that includes, Kaley Cuoco, Lake Bell, Alan Tudyk, Tony Hale, Wanda Sykes, Ron Funches, and Jason Alexander, and I’m very, very interested.
Harley Quinn, based on the DC characters, focuses on Harley Quinn who has finally broken things off once and for all with the Joker and attempts to make it on her own as the criminal Queenpin of Gotham City. The series features Harley Quinn, Poison Ivy and a whole cast of heroes and villains, old and new, from the DC Universe.
Harley Quinn is slated to arrive this Fall.
