In an update to earlier reports, it is now believed that the Disney+ series will begin filming in November 2020, and there have been some preliminary developments with casting as well.
Reports last month indicated that She-Hulk might begin filming as early as July 2020, but now it appears that the filming might start in November 2020 instead. This would make sense especially if the show is being aimed for a December 2021 release date.
There’s more: there have also been reports that Mark Ruffalo has been in talks to join the cast to reprise his role as Bruce Banner, the cousin of Jennifer Walter/She-Hulk. Nothing has been set in stone as of yet, but it would be a real shock if he didn’t join the cast in some capacity. It would be a great way to connect the series to the larger MCU.
Hopefully casting announcements will begin for the series before too long, as there is a great deal of interest regarding who will play the titular character.
