At long last, an adaptation of Y: The Last Man is finally on its way and it’s coming to FX on Hulu!
During the epic Disney Investor Day event, a number of series were announced, with title cards revealed. One such series was Y: The Last Man, which is revealed to finally be coming to FX on Hulu, possibly as early as 2021. This is great news for fans of the comics, as the series has been gestating in development hell for years. Originally pitched as a film, and finally conceived as a TV series, the would-be show parted ways with show runners and stars before finally going with Sterlin Harjo and Taika Waititi to put the show together.

For those not familiar with the original comic:
Y: The Last Man traverses a post-apocalyptic world in which a cataclysmic event decimates every mammal with a Y chromosome but for one cisgender man, Yorick Brown, and his pet monkey. The series follows the survivors in this new world as they struggle with their efforts to restore what was lost and the opportunity to build something better.
Y: The Last Man is currently in production and could be arriving to FX on Hulu as early as 2021.
