David Ayer brings a certain something to his films, and that’s certainly present in this first trailer for his new film, Fury. Things start off fairly standard, with Pitt being a grizzled veteran taking a new recruit on his team and trying to keep everyone from getting killed. While this sounds like a normal plot, the action and emotion on hand in the trailer makes it seem like something very special indeed.
All I know, is that this film looks like another one that’s going to get me all choked up, but in the best ways possible.

Outnumbered and outgunned, and with a rookie soldier thrust into their platoon, Wardaddy and his men face overwhelming odds in their heroic attempts to strike at the heart of Nazi Germany. Written and directed by David Ayer. Produced by Bill Block, David Ayer, John Lesher, and Ethan Smith.
