All Battlefield 4 And Hardline DLC Free For Limited Time

EA announced that they were doing a “road to Battlefield 1″ which consisted of releasing the expansions to both games for free for one week, a single pack at a time. If you missed any of them you can now simply get them all at once.

Xbox’s “Major Nelson” announced the deal which probably means that there is some exclusive agreement with Xbox and EA. That being said the content packs were free on PS3 and PS4 yesterday, but today it seems most of them have increased back to normal price. From what I can see only two BF4 expansions are still free on PSN, with all of Hardline’s and the rest of the BF4 expansions increased to normal price.

All content packs for both games are still free on the Xbox Store though. The content includes China Rising, Second Assault, Naval Strike, Dragon’s Teeth, and Final Stand for Battlefield 4.

Similar to past deals the free content only lasts a week from September 13. The good news is you don’t need to own the game, or boot it up, to get the content. Simply sign in to the store and “purchase it.” The content is then yours to keep with no expiration. You also don’t need Xbox Live or PS Plus to access the deal, but you will need them to play online.

Also good for Xbox games is the ability to join EA Access. Currently both Battlefield 4 and Battlefield Hardline are “free” via the service, which would also allow you to play all the content.
