Arcade1Up debuts Online-Enabled NBA Jam Cabinet and Much More at CES 2020

One of the leaders of retro gaming tech, Arcade1Up is in the middle of showing their wares at CES 2020. To kick off 2020, Arcade1Up introduced a sit-down Star Wars cabinet, a Burger Time Special Edition cabinet, a new Frogger cabinet, and a SEGA Golden Axe cabinet featuring five games (Golden Axe, Shinobi, Altered Beast, Wrestle Wars, and Golden Axe: The Revenge of Death Adder).

Highlighting that lineup of new cabinets is an arcade cabinet for one of the greatest basketball games of all time, NBA Jam.

The NBA Jam cabinet is set to feature online multiplayer capabilities. This will allow players from all over North America to hop into a game to ball out. Games included in this cabinet are NBA Jam, NBA Jam Tournament Edition, and NBA Hang Time.

Additionally, Arcade1Up introduced their partnership with pinball gaming extraordinaire Zen Studios with 3/4 scale digital pinball machines. Arcade1Up says that their partnership with Zen Studios “includes titles from Bally/Williams and other yet to be announced, big names in the pinball space.”

As for the Burger Time Special Edition cabinet, it will include arcade games Karate Champ, Bad Dudes, and Caveman Ninja. The cabinet will also feature Burger Time art, as well as a bevy of special addition features like a light-up marquee, special edition riser, and “rounded side panels”.

The Burger Time Special Edition cabinet is available to pre-order now with a shipping date scheduled for March 1, 2020. As for the rest of the cabinets, stay tuned.
